Changing the standard bulky stone setting. Introducing La Femme and The Valut stone setting.

La Femme and a new way to make a stone float in navel jewelry.

La Femme wasn’t created to “hold a stone.” It was created to free it. Most settings in body jewelry do one thing well: they keep the stone from falling out. La Femme is about what happens when you start treating a stone like a light source. Because that’s what it is.

The problem with “traditional” stone settings.

They block light. They wrap the stone in a chunk of metal. They hide the depth and beauty of it. And in the midsection, that matters more than anywhere else. Your belly button isn’t flat. It curves inward. Your navel jewelry is framed by skin and shadow. It doesn’t receive constant exposure to light like a ring on your hand. So when a setting is overbuilt, it doesn’t just look heavy. It competes with your navel anatomy.

A diamond, or any stone, is only as beautiful as what surrounds it. In navel jewelry, it means the way the stone sits within the belly button piercing itself. The placement, angle or elevation of the stone or even the way the material around it is polished.

That is why “The Vault” was engineered specifically for navel anatomy. Not to cage the stone. To lift it. The Vault setting does something different. The Vault is a floating U-shaped design that lifts the stone so light can actually reach it.

Why did we call it the vault.

When light reaches a stone properly, everything changes. The sparkle looks deeper. The color looks richer. The whole piece looks more expensive, from every angle. We obsess over details like this.  Navel jewelry is at the heart of what Jolie Co does. It’s what I do and why I’m so passionate about everything Jolie Co.

The detail you don’t immediately notice.

Milgrain intentionally placed right under the stone. Where it matters. Not as decoration. But as amplification. That texture catches light, breaks it up, and feeds it back into the stone. It gives the sparkle dimension, so the stone doesn’t lose it’s vividness when you turn. Depth is the difference between “pretty” and “dangerous.”

Every shape. Every size. Same floating effect.

La Femme does this effortlessly across all shapes. Teardrop. Heart. Oval. Emerald. Marquise
Big. Small. In-between. That’s the La Femme signature. A stone that looks like it’s hovering, not trapped in a chunk of metal.

Active. Night out. The size is not random.

“The perfect fit” is the balance between your anatomy, piercing, and lifestyle. La Femme isn’t one vibe. Some days you want sleek. Some nights you want the kind of stone that makes people stare and pretend they weren’t staring.  That’s the "dangerous" factor.  LOL. Size should match your life. As loud as you’re in the mood for.

Color is where the La Femme collection gets addictive. Color is having a moment. With bold gemstones like padparadscha, it’s not just about picking a color. It’s about how that color looks on you. It either pops. Or it gets lost. Diamond accents highlight the color instead of competing with it. They make it look stronger against your skin. In navel jewelry, color only works if it’s elevated.

Right now, the hottest gemstones in navel jewelry are bold. Saturated. Alive.
Paraiba.
Padparadscha.
Tanzanite.
Emerald greens.

And we push it further. Color against color.
Aquamarine layered with deeper blues.
Padparadscha playing against Paraiba.
Emerald tones sharpened with diamonds.

The top matters too.

You don’t need a bulky base to feel secure.  That’s the difference between jewelry that looks good in a photo, and jewelry you actually love wearing. The La Femme top is built for comfort. The way it sits on skin matters, because that’s what you feel all day. La Femme is a new way to think about what a stone is doing in body jewelry. La Femme doesn’t just hold the sparkle. It lets it live.

This is only the beginning of where we’re taking diamond navel jewelry.
