Our jewelry is made entirely in Canada, which means your order isn’t subject to the U.S. de minimis threshold of $800—eliminated as of August 29, 2025.
Instead, your piece qualifies for duty-free entry under the CUSMA/USMCA Free Trade Agreement and is not subject to the 35% tariffs applied to some other Canadian goods.

The Materials and Metals We Use
Precious metals only. No nickel.
Every Jolie Co navel ring is crafted in 10k, 14k or 18k solid gold and 950 platinum. Our gold alloys are sourced from a leading refiner, United Precious Metal Refining in the United States. That means premium metal integrity with zero nickel or cadmium.
Palladium-based white gold, made for your skin.
Our white gold uses a palladium alloy base rather than nickel. This is the safer, body-friendly way to achieve a refined white tone without the allergy risks associated with traditional nickel white gold. It performs beautifully, takes a superb polish, and is chosen by quality body-jewelry makers for its biocompatibility.
Rich yellow gold with high resistance to tarnish.
We favour a high-quality yellow gold mix that keeps its glow. Higher gold content means greater resistance to dulling over time, and our specific alloy profile is chosen for corrosion resistance and long-term luster.
Rhodium Coating
Rhodium plating is not necessary on palladium base white gold however, it is available upon request. This shift reflects our focus on natural, low-maintenance alloys that retain their tone without frequent replating.
As a member of the platinum family, rhodium adds a cool, mirror-bright sheen and a touch of luxury. Beyond aesthetics, it provides an extra layer of protection against scratches and oxidation—preserving that crisp, high-polish finish that defines fine body jewelry.
18k White Gold & 950 Platinum
As of November 1st 2025, we are phasing out 18k white gold in favor of 950 platinum— the purest, safest, and most enduring choice for fine body jewelry. Platinum’s natural white tone never needs plating, and its dense, nickel-free composition makes it exceptionally gentle on the skin.
Composed of 95% pure platinum, it’s renowned for its strength, stability, and biocompatibility. It doesn’t fade, tarnish, or irritate — just a cool, luminous finish that feels as flawless as it looks.

We source our D Color VVS1 Moissanite directly from leading labs — stones cut with the precision and brilliance reserved for fine jewelry. They’re crisp, fiery, and alive under any light. Our lab grown sapphires capture the same richness and depth as their natural counterparts, vibrant, sophisticated, and undeniably luxe.
For natural stones, we work with respected gemologists who source AA to AAA grade gems, the perfect balance of beauty, color, and value. Exceptional grades are available on request for custom orders, because every detail can be made just a little more yours.
All of our stones are ethically sourced and carefully inspected before setting. And because true brilliance comes from within, the metal beneath each stone is polished to a mirror finish, letting the light pass cleanly through and return as that unmistakable Jolie Co glow.

Are there additional duties, tarrifs and taxes?
United States – NO TARIFFS (USMCA Exempt)
Australia & New Zealand – No duties or Taxes (orders under $1,000 AUD)
UK & EU – VAT billed at the time of delivery
If you are ordering from UAE, SA or any other country, duties are usually 5%. Your local country's retail sales tax may be billed at the time of delivery.
How can I track my order?

Can I change or cancel my order?
If you need to change or cancel your order, please do it within 1 hours of placing the order. If you're unsure of the product you ordered please reach out to us as quickly as you can. We will always work with you to address any questions or concerns you may have.
Can I change the shipping address after the order is placed?
The shipping address cannot be changed after the order is placed.

Our goal is for you to love wearing your jewelry.
Fine body piercing jewelry often becomes even more personal once it is worn. Many clients discover new possibilities only after experiencing how their jewelry looks and feels on their anatomy. A stone may sit beautifully slightly higher, tilted so that it points forward, or a different profile may elevate the entire look.
That process of refinement is part of what makes custom jewelry so special. Guiding you through it is the very essence of Jolie Co and what makes us so unique.
If your jewelry arrives and the fit is not quite right, or the style is not ideal for your anatomy, contact us.
For gifting, exchanges are available for up to 90 days from the order date.
Fit Adjustments & Concierge Support
If you consulted our Piercing Concierge® and a fit recommendation, such as the length needs correction, we will waive the exchange service fee.
Basic fit corrections based on our guidance are covered as part of our service.
Exchange & Refit Service
A flat $75 USD exchange service fee applies to most elective exchanges, remakes, and refinements. Shipping is separate. This service is available to you at any time.
This commonly includes:
• changing the wearable length
• subtle profile refinements, such as altering the stone placement angle
• switching to a completely different style within 14 days of purchase
Perfecting your jewelry can be an exciting process. The reward of wearing jewelry that feels uniquely yours outweighs the time - and in some cases even the multiple iterations - it takes to achieve.
We’re always happy to continue that process with you and place no limit on future refinements. However, to help cover a portion of our craftsmanship costs, the applicable exchange service fee applies to each new iteration or remake.
Advanced Custom Revisions
Some requests go beyond a standard exchange and require substantial reconstruction or fully bespoke work.
Examples may include:
• changes to custom design
• significantly raising or lowering stone placement height
• altering angle or orientation in a complex way
• adjusting a design to suit unique anatomy features
For types of revisions, additional charges may apply beyond the standard $75 exchange fee. We will always review options and confirm pricing with you before proceeding.
Changing to a Different Style
If you decide another style would better suit your anatomy or aesthetic, have no worries, you're never stuck with a design you don't love. The value of your original purchase may be applied toward a new piece of equal or greater value, plus the applicable exchange fee.
Because each piece is made to order and worn jewelry cannot be resold, exchanges into lower-priced styles do not generate refunds or store credit.
Why We Do Not Accept Returns
Every piece is made to order to your selected specifications, and many are further tailored to individual anatomy.
Due to the personal nature of piercing jewelry and hygiene considerations, we do not accept conventional returns. Returned jewelry is never resold and is instead refined and recycled.
Our exchange program exists so you can order confidently.
Store Credit Exception
If your jewelry is unworn and has not been altered beyond one of our published sizing or length options, you may return it for store credit once received and inspected.
Worn jewelry is not eligible for store credit.

Lifetime Craftsmanship Warranty
At Jolie Co, our jewelry is made to be worn, loved, and lived in. Every piece is handcrafted in solid 14k or 18k gold or 950 platinum, using materials and construction designed to last.
We offer a Lifetime Craftsmanship Warranty covering manufacturing and construction defects for the lifetime of the jewelry’s intended use. If something goes wrong due to how the piece was made, we’ll make it right.
Fine jewelry naturally evolves with wear. Surface marks, light scratches, or subtle changes in finish or stones are part of the story of a piece that’s truly lived in. While these aren’t considered defects, we’re always happy to help assess, refresh, or restore your jewelry when possible.
If an issue arises from normal wear, force, improper use, or fit-related stress, it falls outside the warranty. Don’t hesitate to reach out. We review every situation thoughtfully and will work with you toward the best possible solution.
