Thanks to the CUSMA/USMCA free trade agreement, our Canadian-made jewelry qualifies for duty-free entry into the U.S. So even though the U.S. recently eliminated the $800 de minimis threshold for Canadian shipments, Jolie Co remains fully exempt. What you see at checkout is exactly what you’ll be charged. Period.
The real impact of the $800 de minimis change is that orders now have to be individually cleared at customs, which adds brokerage and processing fees. This applies to standard shipping, and for that reason, we now ship with expedited service only - which means your order clears customs quickly, without any hidden handling fees.
And so just to reiterate, there are NO TARRIFS and there are NO BROKERAGE fees.
