How should your navel ring fit your piercing?

When navel jewelry fits right it doesn't just look better, it feels better and protects your piercing.

The bar length needs to be 1-2mm longer than the length of your piercing which is the distance between the entry or ridge of your navel and exit hole.

  • What if the jewelry is shorter than 1mm?

    Piercing irritation and swelling can happen even when handled with unclean hands. If the jewelry doesn't allow enough room for swelling, it will put constant pressure on the piercing, making it difficult to heal. In severe cases, the ends of the jewelry can sink into the piercing, causing significant pain or, worse, requiring surgical removal.
