Care: To ensure you keep your jewelry looking its best, you need to give it a little (tlc) tender love and care from time to time.

1. Stick to mild soaps and warm water for the best results.
2. Gently rub your jewelry using a soft cloth or microfiber cloth. Make sure it is a clean, “un-treated” cloth. These contain polishing chemicals too harsh for the gold vermeil.
3. Do not use a brush on vermeil, as this can be too abrasive to the gold plating.
4. Do not use an ultrasonic cleaner on gold vermeil. Vermeil is a type of plating that is bonded using electro currents so the ultrasonic waves can be disruptive to the bonding.
5. When not worn, store your jewelry safely. We recommend using the Jolie Pouch to protect your pieces from scratching.

But not all gold vermeil is equal, at Jolie Co we apply a thick 3-micron layer of 18k gold onto 925 sterling silver. In addition, a heavy metal free, invisible anti tarnish gets applied to further protect the vermeil from oxidation and discoloration when exposed to the elements.
